RETEMSA, PRESENT AT INDIA TELECOM 2008

RETEMSA was present at the last edition of INDIA TELECOM, which took place in New Delhi ( India ), 11 – 13 December 2008.

Sharing exhibition place with ARTHEON, our agent for India , Retemsa products were presented to a variety of executives of such an important market. Special attention was put on SolBoost, Retemsa's low cost, solar powered solution for enhancing mobile coverage in rural areas.

Retemsa announces its participation in the coming event ITU TELECOM AFRICA 2008.

It will take place 12 to 15 May 2008, in the Cairo International Convention Centre (CICC – Cairo , Egypt ), and will be a meeting place for all the relevant players in the continent's Telecom Market.

Madrid , Spain . –Retemsa, a leading provider of coverage enhancement solutions, today announced the launch of its new repeater family dubbed SolBoost, featuring minimum site requirements thanks to its advanced Interference Cancellation technology, low consumption and energy saving functionality, building a system designed to be powered by solar (PV) panels.

SolBoost solutions provide large GSM coverage extension in rural and developing areas with the lowest investment, using a small foot-print mast/tower, standard inexpensive antennas and a self-contained power system. SolBoost repeaters are band selective, only enhancing the customer's (mobile operator) frequencies, seamlessly integrating in any existing radio network. Their plug & play auto-configuration software and remote operation and maintenance capabilities keep TCO at a minimum.

After piloting the solution in several Latin-American countries, a top tier international operator has placed an order for the first mass deployment of this innovative solution that will bring mobile services to vast extensions in the Americas.

Retemsa signs an agreement with the PAGE Group for the development of electronics equipments of electronics for the department of defense

This agreement reinforces Retemsa's bet for its line of business of Electronics applied to the area of the Defense, in a sector which invoicing for 2008 the company foresees duplicate that of the present exercise.

Madrid, on June 20, 2007 - Retemsa and the Group PAGE, Spanish companies of high technology, have come to an agreement of collaboration according to which they will develop equipments and electronic systems in the area of the Spanish Department of Defense.

For this agreement, initially of two years of duration, Retemsa and the Group PAGE were relying on everything relative to the integration and execution of these electronic systems.

The equipments and systems developed of measurements and electronic countermeasurements will be implemented for applications of control of not wished communications, among other functions.

“The agreement with the Group PAGE reinforces our bet for the line of business of Electronic Defense, one of the areas of activity with bigger potential of growth in the next years.
