GSM 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS
RETEMSA's pico-repeaters are bidirectional superheterodyne receiver/transmitter designed to provide coverage enhancement in small or mid size areas that require good service at a minimum cost. These repeaters can amplify the operator's full band, allowing all active channels to be repeated in areas with high traffic volumes.
GSM/UMTS PICO-REPEATERS GENERAL FEATURES
- No channels configuration required. It can amplify all operator's working band.
- It's totally transparent to the BTS.
- It's compatible with EDGE and GPRS (GSM).
- Small, light and very easy to install. It's the perfect product to provide coverage in offices, factories, banks, shops, etc.
- Optional integrated coverage antenna.
- It complies with ETSI/3GPP normative. It provides selective coverage without interferences to other operators.
PICO-REPEATERS SPECIFIC FEATURES
In GSM 850 the values to amplify are located between 824 - 849 MHz for the uplink (mobile-BTS communication) and 869 - 894 MHz for the downlink (BTS-mobile communication). GSM 850 is maily used in America .
In GSM 900 the values to amplify are located between 890 - 915 MHz for the uplink (mobile-BTS communication) and 935 - 960 MHz for the downlink (BTS-mobile communication).
EGSM is the extended version of the GSM 900 band, with 880 - 915 MHz for the uplink and 925 - 960 MHz for the downlink.
In GSM 1800 the values to amplify are located between 1710 - 1785 MHz for the uplink (mobile-BTS communication) and 1805 - 1880 MHz for the downlink (BTS-mobile communication).
En GSM1900 the values to amplify are located between 1850 - 1910 MHz for the uplink (mobile-BTS communication) and 1930 - 1990 MHz for the downlink (BTS-mobile communication). GSM 1900 is manly used in America .
In UMTS the values to amplify are located between 1920-1980 MHz for the uplink (mobile-BTS communication) and 2110– 2170 MHz for the downlink (BTS-mobile communication).
This kind of repeater guarantees high speed (384 Kbps) data transmissions, while provides voice channels at the same time. |
